Message on Channeling

Prior to a channeling class on channeling, I decided to channel a message  on the topic of channeling. Here is what “The Universal Voice” had to say on channeling.

Welcome to all;

It is always our pleasure to share with you all that we can. You may have others tell you that there is evil or danger in working with Universal Energies. They will not use this term for they do not understand. It is fear that makes them make such statements. Try to be as understanding as possible, and do your best not to react. You do not have to justify what you do, and they are entitled to their opinions, even if they are at times a little askew.

It takes a more advanced soul if you will, to even attempt this type of work. We are not saying that you are better, only more advanced at this time. Do not allow these misguided souls to deter you from moving forward in your attempt to further advance your experiences and your knowledge.

All of you here at this time, have the abilities to contact souls within this universe with this method of contact. For some this method will be easy, for others it will take a little more practice, but we assure all of you, that you are all capable.

You will find that this type of contact has some advantages over other methods. With the human mind, words and their meanings are sometimes not correctly understood at the time they are received. Using the method of writing, you have the  accurate means of returning to the message, as it was written exactly as receive. You can at any time reflect upon the meaning of the words. Often, as time passes and knowledge is gained, the words written can often take on new meanings.

So please feel free to explore this method of communication and we will do all we can to assist you. We do love it when we can work together with humans that are aware of our existence.

How To Channel Write

Channeling information for personal use or to share with others, has been done since the beginning of human existence. There are many who believe that to channel information, no matter what form you choose to express the information with, is evil in it's roots. This belief is based in fear and lack of knowledge. For in their ignorance they do not understand the truth that is often behind this form of communication. Unfortunately over the years there have been many who have tried to deceive others with misinformation. This information is not based in truth, and therefore this information has given negative experiences to many, and therefore they choose not believe in what they read or hear. As channelers we are able to cloud the meaning of the received messages with our own insecurities and lack of experience. However, if we are honest with ourselves and work diligently to keep our own personal beliefs out of the received messages, then the information can and will be pure. Having said that, receiving the message is only part of the story. Interpretation of the received message is the second area where misinterpretation can occur. How we choose to understand the message, is by worldly experiences and our education. It has been my experience that our understanding of a message may change over time as our experiences change and our understandings grow. It is our perspective of the world that we live in, that ultimately  influences of our interpretation of the messages being received.

Now for the grand question, "what is channeling"? I believe that channeling is the connection with another’s' consciousness, then choosing to communicate. Whether the communication is with previous known Earthly personalities, animals or any other universal consciousness or group of consciousness, the choice is yours on who you wish to communicate with. In the past many of the indigenous peoples of the world have used spirit communication to aid them in every day lives, so that they were able to increase their survival rates. Their respect for those in the spirit world was and is great. Many of the world mystics have used channeling to aid them on their quest to gain truth and knowledge. Channeling is nothing new, but it may be new to you. I am a firm believer that everyone has the ability to channel. But like everything else in life, some it will find channeling easy and others will have to work at it. The clarity of the messages also will not be equal, but, with practice all can improve upon the purity of the messages received.

Some will choose to channel the messages with their voice, others can paint channeled messages through images, but, for me I have found writing, as my means of communication. This is the means that I am most comfortable with, I have tried the painting method, it was o.k. but, I was not particularly happy with the result; I suppose I was putting too much of my own thoughts into the paintings. At one point in a class situation, I nearly spoke a channeled message but  found the physical response too much for me to handle, at that particular time. The energy was incredibly strong, and I did not know how to reduce the energies. Now I completely realize that all I had to do is ask for the energies to be reduced to a level that I could physically handle, and it would have been done. However, the written messages came easily for me and to this day this is the method that I choose to continue with. This is the method that I will share with you.

How to channel your own written messages.

First I recommend that if you are planning to practice this method of channeling start yourself a book of messages. I usually use a book with lined pages. For each message I highly recommend that you date the page. This way as you progress, you can see just how far you have come, as well you can go back and reread your messages.

To start open your book and date the page, then follow these instructions.

1. I always recommend that you find a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed. Turn off the phone, and put on quiet  music if you like. Sit in a  comfortable position, where writing will be easy.

2. When you are ready, take in as many deep breaths as needed, to calm your body and clear your mind.

3. Make a decision on who it is you wish to receive communication from, (i.e., your spirit guide or guides, the dolphins, Mother Earth, etc.) The choice is yours. There may be times when you have a specific question that you need guidance for, state that which you wish to understand or know. At this time you may wish to be clear that it is the highest source you wish to communicate with.

4. Initially I wrote with my eyes closed, however I had difficulty keeping my lines straight and my writings were often difficult to read. Now, I leave my eyes opened and unfocused. Try both ways and see what works for you.

5. Then allow your cleared mind to receive the words and write them down as you receive them. (Note: I do not physically hear words, but my mind is in a listening state and I am consciously aware of listening and the words are there.) I expect each of us will receive our messages a little differently, as each of us is unique in our own right.

You may find that initially you will only be able to do this for a few minutes at a time. But, as you practice your ability to increase the time you can receive messages will expand. If during the reception of a message I get a word I am not comfortable with, I ask permission to change it. If the answer is no, then I do not change the word. As to change one word sometimes changes the whole meaning. I follow this rule whether the message is for myself or for another.

I also recommend to you, that if you receive a message that tells you what to do, please question the source. As spirit only recommends, never tells you what to do. So please if this occurs, and I have personally never had this experience, then question the source of your message. To prevent this from happening always ask for the highest source to communicate with you.

Sometimes your messages may even come in poem form, anything is possible. If it is your desire to explore and experience, try this form of communication. With a purity of heart, communicating with the endless universal possibilities can help you to bring the light into your life and then you too, can realize with out question that....
